Terms of use
Kitakits Tickets · support@kitakitsticket.com
These terms apply when you buy tickets on, or sell tickets through, Kitakits Tickets ("Kitakits", "we"). By using the site you agree to them.
1. What we do
Kitakits is a ticketing platform. Events are run by independent organisers, not by us. When you buy a ticket, your agreement for the event itself is with the organiser. We sell tickets on the organiser's behalf and collect payment for them.
2. Buying tickets
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. A booking fee is shown before you pay.
- Each ticket has its own QR code and can be used for entry once. Keep it private. Anyone with the code can use it.
- The organiser may refuse entry if a ticket was already used, if age rules apply and aren't met, or under the venue's conditions of entry.
- You can change guest names on your order page until the guest checks in.
3. Refunds
Refunds follow the organiser's refund policy shown on the event page and at checkout, and our refund policy. If an event is cancelled, you'll get a full refund including the booking fee. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Organisers
- Organisers must give accurate event information, hold the rights and permits needed to run the event, and honour the refund policy they choose.
- Organisers are responsible for their event, including safety, venue, catering and any changes or cancellations.
- New organiser accounts are reviewed before events can be published. We may suspend accounts or unpublish events that break these terms or that we believe are fraudulent.
- Ticket sales (less refunds) are paid to the organiser's nominated bank account after the event unless we agree otherwise in writing. Booking fees are kept by Kitakits.
- Refunds and chargebacks: we may hold back ticket money for orders under dispute. If a refund or chargeback (including the bank's dispute fee) happens after you've been paid, you must repay that amount. We may take it from your future payouts, or ask you to pay it within 14 days.
- We tell you when a buyer disputes a payment, and you agree to help us respond (for example with check-in records or messages with the buyer).
- Organisers must handle guests' personal information only for running their event, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no fake events, reselling tickets above face value where the law prohibits it, copying or forging tickets, or attempts to break or overload the service.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for how an event is run or for indirect losses. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version above. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Questions: support@kitakitsticket.com.
